When Tennant took office as president and chief executive officer in 2007, he steered the organization through his strong leadership skills, innovative ideas and amicable demeanor. A 20-year travel and convention industry veteran, he has worked relentlessly to ensure the growth of Meet Minneapolis.

Leslie Wright,
Senior Vice President of Sales + Services
With more than 20 years of sales and management experience in the hospitality industry, Wright joined Meet Minneapolis in 2009. She oversees the destination sales and services staff at Meet Minneapolis and the Minneapolis Convention Center. She also manages all destination services functions to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and repeat business.
